VitalDrive Innovations Ltd is a UK-registered deep-technology company focused on developing in-vehicle health intelligence systems for automotive and mobility environments.
VitalDrive’s mission is to detect physiological and cognitive risk before accidents occur, using a combination of in-vehicle biosensing, hybrid artificial intelligence, and certifiable decision logic. The company is building technology designed to operate in real-world driving conditions, where uncertainty, noise, and safety constraints are unavoidable.

Current Stage
VitalDrive® is currently in Phase-2 development, focused on maturing its Health Intelligence Engine (VD-HIE) through simulation, machine-learning training, and validation.
The company has implemented a working rule-based risk engine, a clean risk API, and an end-to-end demonstration pipeline. Ongoing work centres on expanding datasets, refining hybrid intelligence models, and preparing the system for real-world testing and certification-aligned deployment.
Academic collaboration plays a central role in this phase, particularly in shaping the scientific direction of physiological modelling and validation methodology.
Founder’s Perspective
VitalDrive® was founded by Naveen Yadam, a pharmacologist and clinical research professional with a background in medical science, safety-critical thinking, and applied innovation.
The company was created in response to a simple but unresolved problem: while vehicles continue to improve their understanding of the environment, they remain largely blind to the health state of the person operating them.
VitalDrive® exists to close that gap responsibly, transparently, and with a long-term view toward real-world deployment.
