When Every Second Counts, Your Car Should Know
Transforming vehicles from passive transportation into intelligent guardians of health, where advanced AI and sensor technology work together to detect medical emergencies before they become tragedies.
Today’s vehicles understand the road, not the human behind the wheel.

The Critical Problem
Each year, thousands of lives are lost due to medical emergencies behind the wheel, from heart attacks to unconsciousness, with no early warning system in place.
-
1.19 million Annual global road traffic deaths (WHO, 2023)
-
17% of UK cars now use Level 2 automation, yet none include driver health monitoring
-
15% of all vehicle crashes are caused by the driver's medical conditions
-
46 minutes Average response time often too late for intervention
-
0 Current vehicles with integrated health monitoring systems
The reality: Modern cars have sensors for everything except the most critical component, the driver's health.

Our Vision
VitalDrive® is reimagining vehicles as intelligent guardians of health, detecting danger before disaster strikes.
-
Proactive Health Monitoring: Continuous vitals tracking without driver intervention
-
AI-Powered Early Detection: Machine learning algorithms that recognize medical distress patterns
-
Immediate Response Systems: Automated emergency protocols that activate within seconds
-
Seamless Integration: Technology that works invisibly within existing vehicle systems
-
Life-Saving Innovation: Transforming every car into a mobile health monitoring station
The future: Where your car becomes your most vigilant health companion, watching over you on every journey.

What We’re Building
VitalDrive’s Health Intelligence Engine (VD-HIE) combines rule-based safety logic with machine-learning inference to deliver predictable, bounded, and certifiable behaviour in safety-critical scenarios.
Vitals Monitoring
Designed to monitor pulse, heart rate, blood pressure proxies, and seat-based physiological signals using advanced in-seat and steering-wheel sensing architectures.
Technical Capabilities:
-
Pulse sensor integration
-
Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) grip monitoring
-
Continuous 24/7 health data collection
-
Baseline learning algorithm for personalized thresholds
Smart Alerts
AI interprets vitals and instantly flags anomalies like cardiac distress, unconsciousness, or medical emergencies.
Technical Capabilities (under Phase-2 development and validation):
-
Machine learning pattern recognition
-
Multi-parameter anomaly detection
-
Real-time risk assessment scoring
-
False positive reduction algorithms
Emergency Protocols
Upon detection of high-risk conditions, the system architecture supports escalation workflows, including alerting mechanisms, vehicle safety integration pathways, and emergency notification logic.
Technical Capabilities:
-
Bluetooth emergency notifications
-
Automated emergency contact alerts
-
GPS location sharing
-
Integration with vehicle safety systems
Current focus: Phase-2 development, simulation, ML training, and validation.

From Dream to Drive: Why I Built VitalDrive®
A personal journey from healthcare professional to health-tech innovator
Personal Introduction
I'm Naveen, a health-tech innovator with a mission to prevent silent tragedies behind the wheel.
The Journey
Inspired by my background in clinical research and a vision for AI-powered safety, I started VitalDrive with a commitment to save lives.
The Inspiration
After studying in healthcare, I realized that some of the most preventable tragedies occur not in hospitals, but on our roads. Every year, thousands of drivers experience medical emergencies behind the wheel, heart attacks, strokes, and diabetic episodes with no early warning system to protect them or other road users.
The Mission
I built VitalDrive not for profit but because I couldn't bear the silence anymore. The silence of families who lose loved ones to preventable accidents. The silence of emergency rooms that receive patients too late. The silence of a healthcare system that stops protecting people the moment they leave the hospital.
Core Belief
"Because every beep, every sensor, every warning might just be the one that saves a life."
VitalDrive® is currently in Phase-2 development, focused on validation, simulation, and academic collaboration.
